You don’t have to know exactly what you want from therapy before you start. We can figure out what matters most and where you want to make changes.”.

Brandon is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who works with adults and teens experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma and PTSD, relationship concerns, grief, life transitions, and other challenges that can make everyday life feel difficult or overwhelming.

He believes therapy works best when it fits the person, not the other way around. Some clients come to therapy knowing exactly what they want to change, while others simply know that something in their lives isn’t working the way they want it to. Brandon enjoys helping people understand what is getting in their way, make changes, and find practical ways to move forward.

He knows that clients need to feel comfortable and at ease in therapy in order to really explore their experiences and make the changes they are hoping for. Brandon draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, and other approaches based on each person’s individual needs and goals.

He also enjoys working with teens, helping them navigate the pressures, relationships, emotions, and growing independence that come with adolescence.

Brandon has a particular passion for working with first responders and their families and pursued additional training to become a Certified First Responder Counselor. He understands the demands of the work and a culture that can encourage people to simply “deal with it and move on.” “Sometimes they’d rather not talk about exactly what they’ve seen or been through,” he explains, “but it’s still important to have a place where they feel understood.”
