Sandra Murray, LCSW
Sandy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 18+ years of experience. She works with children, adolescents, and adults. Previously Sandy worked in the Lincoln Way area as a school social worker, which provides her with a depth of understanding of the educational system in this area. Issues she works with include anxiety, ADHD, loss and trauma, divorce, school refusal, and autism.
Sandy’s goal is “to understand the big picture as quickly as possible, and develop a strategy based on the strengths of the individual I am working with.” When working with adults, Sandy helps them with relationship issues, anxiety, depression, codependency, adult ADHD, grief, and trauma. She also works with professionals experiencing compassion fatigue and burnout.
She believes, “Life has its challenges at every stage and therapy is a perfect way to intervene and make those challenges more manageable and easier to overcome.” Sandy tries to help her client believe “things are definitely going to get better”.
Sandy looks forward to talking with you about the goals you have and the changes you want to make. Give her a call and get started today!
