Alexandra Glumac, LCPC, RDDP

Alexandra is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and a Registered Dual Disorder Professional (RDDP). She has over 30 years experience working with clients dealing with stress, low self-esteem and feelings of being “stuck” in life. Alexandra often utilizes Cognitive Behavioral and Relational approaches. She enjoys helping clients improve their communication and assertiveness skills. Alexandra’s greatest joy as a therapist is “watching clients develop a stronger sense of self and more fulfilling relationships”.

In addition, Alexandra is a Lecturer at Governors State University. She has been with the university since 2000, teaching communication classes in the College of Arts & Sciences. Students appreciate her “Building Self-Esteem” and “Interpersonal Communication” courses. They enjoy Alexandra’s enthusiasm and love for teaching. Alexandra is also a seasoned corporate trainer.  She specializes in workforce optimization and focuses on effective communication, progressive leadership, conflict resolution and team building. Whether working with students or clients, Alexandra‘s goal is to help people move toward more vibrant, satisfying lives.

Alexandra‘s warm demeanor, optimistic attitude, and ability to easily engage with others, helps to put her clients at ease.
